	Project Lead: Simon Buckingham Shum has worked on Compendium and its predecessors since 1990 studying the cognitive properties of visual argumentation, and is committed to understanding how it can add value within the OU, both to its internal operations as well as in learning and teaching. 	Compendium Institute Founder and Part-Time KMi PhD Candidate: Al Selvin is a director at Verizon in the US. As a research scientist at NYNEX in the 1990s, he co-invented the Compendium methodology with Maarten Sierhuis. His research focuses on understanding the skillset for using tools like Compendium effectively. [website]
	Developer: Michelle Bachler brings years of industry experience in Java, Web and XML, and has been the full-time programmer of Compendium since 2002, funded from external research grants [website]
	Research Fellow: Alexandra Okada has a PhD in Cognitive Mapping, and has worked on Knowledge Mapping applications of Compendium to the OU's OpenLearn initiative since 2006 [website]
	PhD Candidate: Anna De Liddo brings a background in Urban Planning to the Compendium team, focusing in her research (based in Univ. Bari) on how to combine temporal, spatial and community perspectives when working with stakeholders on the future shape of their towns. [website]
	Project Manager: Teresa Connolly is currently surveying the use of Compendium in the OU. She worked previously on the OpenLearn project and developed a series of COmpendium based Open Educational Resources.
